Gary’s update:
Gypsum has really made some great strides in the past few years and I want to take a few lines and give you some insight.
The Fall Festival just recently happened in Gypsum with over 400 people eating at the community evening meal. The days activities concluded with a band and dance at the community auditorium.
Moyer Auto was purchased by Nick and Amanda Trout and is a full service station with some convenience store items for sale.
McKim Service is located just north of K-4 Garage and does everything from engine and transmission work to brakes and A/C.
Agri Trails has expanded and is covering a wider and wider area all the time. Increased storage space has allowed for most crops except milo to be housed inside.
TNT Auto has opened with owner Alex Weller selling used cars.
Exit 14 is under new ownership and has expanded it’s menu options.
The Spotlight is a beacon of news in the SE region of Saline County and is free to the public and comes out the Third Thursday of each month.
Gypsum Valley Outdoor Sports sells guns, shells and much more and is centrally located in downtown Gypsum.
The Citizens State Bank also owns the Roxbury bank and is actively making farm loans, real estate loans on land and houses and provides a wide range of banking products.
Smart Insurance is located inside of ATop Realty building and has expanded the amount of acreage covered year over year each year. Atop Realty LLC has moved into it’s building at 524 Maple, the completely remodeled building used to be the Cookie Jar. With two offices and a break room and a waiting room I can easily meet with you anytime to discuss your real estate needs.
Olson Rentals is also housed at 524 Maple and has grown to around 10 rental houses mainly in Gypsum. If you are thinking about moving to this area give him a call to discuss housing options that may be open.
The Seed Wheat Business for Olson Farms is also housed at 524 Maple Street. They actively market KWA and LCS varieties. These locally grown varieties include Larry, Zenda, T158, Chrome, Everest, and Mint.
The flea market continues to offer opportunities for consignments and flea market items.
